Cajun Mardi Gras traditions date back to medieval France (and perhaps earlier) when, on the "anything goes" holiday celebrating the last day before the Lenten fast, peasants would dress up in ridiculous costumes, generally ridiculing their "superiors" (Nobles, Clergy and Intelligentsia). They would then travel around their area seeking alms or handouts.
Let's come over and celebrate that old celebration with us...
Dominique made a unique menu for that evening...
- Pacific Oysters Rockefeller
- Crawfish Gumbo
- "Jambalaya" Twist Style
- Grilled Chicken, Andouille Sausage
Mussels and "Dirty Rice"
- Apple Beignet with Caramel Sauce
As usual we are going to divide the dinner in two seatings.
Early Dinner will be going from 5.00 PM until 6.30 PM.
Late Dinner will be going from 7.30 PM until 9.00 PM.
The price of the dinner is $ 36.00 per person (plus taxes & gratuities).
